Survive the Night
I have taken to reading several Riley Sager books lately; he writes psychological thrillers and I know this genre is not everyone’s favorite, but if you like it, I highly recommend him. “Survive the Night” is an interesting book. It tells the story of Charlie, a college student looking for a ride home to Ohio. Luckily, fellow student Josh is going the same way and is willing to take her along. At first, all goes well. But the more Charlie learns about Josh, the more she notices holes in his story. And worst of all, there’s a Campus Killer on the loose (of course), and Charlie is worried she’s now in the car with him!
I thought this was an easy read with well-developed characters. No overly graphic violence, just a good whodunit with some twists and turns at the end. If you’re wanting to take a mysterious car ride with two interesting characters, this is a good one.
